Q: How do I get started with TempForce?

A:  The fastest way to apply with TempForce is to call us at 717-273-8811, and speak with a member of our team regarding setting up an application appointment. Q:  How long does it take to receive an employment offer from you?

A:  That depends on your flexibility. The more flexible you are regarding pay rate, job type, and location, the easier it is for us to find you employment quickly and keep you busy!  We have a pre-screening process which must be completed first, including skills assessment, personal interview, and references, which may take several days to complete.

Q:  What types of positions do you staff?

A:  We focus primarily on light industrial and office support positions, ranging from order selectors and general laborers to general clerical or administrative support and project work. Our opportunities can be full or part time and long or short term.

Q:  Where are your positions located?

A:  Our main office is located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.  Most of the opportunities we offer are located within the Lebanon county area.

Q:  With what types of companies do you work?

A:  We work with many different companies.  More than 90% of businesses utilize some type of temporary staffing help, so our clients come from a wide variety of industries.

Q:  How much will I make with your company?

A:  Our positions vary in pay, depending on employee qualifications and the specific opportunity available.  Currently, the starting pay for most of our light industrial opportunities is $10 an hour and above and the starting pay for most of our clerical opportunities is between $9 - $12 per hour.

Q:  What is minimum wage?

A:  Presently, the federal minimum wage is $7.25 per hour.

Q:  Do you charge a fee?

A:  No!  There is no fee to work for TempForce.  You will be paid for all hours worked at the rate quoted when you accepted the job minus only the mandatory federal, state and local taxes.

Q:  Do you offer permanent placement?

A:  Absolutely!  Many of our positions have the opportunity for permanent placement. Even if you are not on a "temp-to-hire" assignment, you are inside the company, making contacts, and learning about how they do things!  This gives you a huge advantage when an opening arises, for which you may apply.

Q:  How long does it take to fill out an application?

A:  You should plan for approximately 1 hour in our office.  We take the time to do a thorough skills analysis and assessment, personal interview, and work history profile, to ensure that we present opportunities that best meet your qualifications, interests and employment goals.

Q:  What if I'm only looking for part time or short-term work?

A:  The flexibility of temporary work makes it easy to fit most schedules.  Tell us when you are available, and we will discuss any potential assignments we have that fit your availability.
